Love on a Pirate Ship (a proper ode to piracy)

.

revised

 .

Shiver me timbers, the lass is fine

All properly pale and plump divine

Freshly rescued from her boring life

Sailing cross seas as a merchant’s wife

On a used to be ship called the “Erin Rudy”

Bought her aboard with the rest of the booty

Now she lies all tethered and bound

With her ars in the air all juicy and round

Time to peel open this ripe little fruit

And see what wears hide ‘neath that suit

A swig of rum, my dear, will help ease the pain

That is to befall you again and again

Keep screamin’ lass, it gets the men riled

Cause they’ll get their turn after awhile

Soon enough you’ll love my men and me

Your only other choice is lovin’ the sea

Throw yourself o’erboad into murky depths

Where you will find all our other guests.

.

I couldn’t let a good title go to waste on some emotional goo so a more proper homage I managed

If i was going to flirt, I would say your wish is my command captain, but as I,m not, forget that comment.

Reminds me of an old favorite…

“It’s true he was wicked as wicked could be,
His sins they outnumbered a hundred and three,
But oh, he was perfectly gorgeous to see,
The Pirate Don Durk of Dowdee.”

Yours puts the vision to the “wicked” part…
