.
With a breath I inhale this world
I feel it revolve in my lungs
I feel oceans surge
And mountains rumble
The slight air ‘neath each butterfly
Every sigh
And every whispered passion
Tickles my throat
And I find perchance
To smile

What a beautiful comment comet shower that is. I’m sure wont mind my saying that it is a great poem, but the syntax gets a little tangled at the end
‘And I find perchance
To smile’
My brain wanted it to be ‘ a smile’ that you found, but that’s just me.
That is a beautiful comment comet shower though so well done,

Wow, thanks everybody, you are too kind.
And you know, Pual, if I recall correctly I at first wrote it that way (a smile). Something about it didn’t sit right with me. I think it was that I wanted to put forth the intention to smile. If that makes any sense.
